Cotton is a staple no matter the season! A natural fiber of plant origin, cotton has many advantages, including being soft and absorbent.

At Petit Bateau, we often use 100% cotton yarn, which we sometimes mix with wool for more warmth. Another quality of cotton is that it can be knitted in different ways to offer a wide choice of fabrics: ribbing, fleece, tube knit...

What is the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX ® label?

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX ®ensures that clothes certified by this label respect your skin and health. In the Petit Bateau Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, 85%of the collection is labeled STANDARD 100% by OEKO-TEX ®.

You will find our certified clothes in the newborn collection, baby, child and adult underwear, as well as for nightwear.

Some care tips from our quality department
Cotton is a strong fiber that can withstand machine washing well. However, if your laundry is only lightly soiled, you can reduce the washing temperature indicated on the care label and/or use a shorter wash cycle to save energy.
Because each garment is different, take the time to read the care symbols and washing instructions on the label inside your garment.
